We teach the syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dancing and the Imperial society of Teachers of Dancing. Both organisations were established in the early 1900’s and have many years of experience in creating programmes for the study of dance at all levels. All our teachers are fully qualified and use their own experience and creativity in their classes. Ballet is a wonderful way to improve posture, coordination, concentration and musicality. Exams can be taken in both Ballet and Modern.

Modern Theatre Jazz: Defies a single permanent definition as it adapts, develops and evolves with the changing fashion in dance. Through a careful planned syllabus which begins with a warm up of limbering and stretching exercises and continues with isolations, rhythm, free work and routines in both lyrical and jazz styles. Students are trained to become disciplines and versatile dancers.

Summer school is held in July and is always very popular. The highlight is the finale show at the end of the week. The younger student’s course includes arts and craft during the week, and the older students enjoy the choreography competition.

Senior Students have an intensive week of dance training including fitness training, stretching, performance profiling, Pilates, Anatomy and history theory and nutrition. They also work on their own choreographies.
